Access to safe and clean drinking water and sanitation along with hygiene (WASH) services is key if Uganda is to achieve the 6th Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) by 2030. It is also essential for preventing waterborne diseases, reducing time wasted in search for water, and lowering mortality rates, especially among children and vulnerable populations.
