Train women, girls and youth to build Low Cost appropriate Water, sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) facilities to provide a close access to these services in the communities.
Environmental conservation
Training women, girls and youth in environmental conservation/ Agroforestry.
Biointensive farming
Training women, girls and youth in establishment and use of bio intensive gardens to enable them have all year round access to food with the surplus sold to enhance livelihood
Women economic empowerment and leadership
As the primary health care givers and managers of homes and the word, increasing women's access to economic resources and opportunities including jobs, financial services, property and other productive assets, skills development and market information gives them they resources and capabilities they need to play their role.

Access to safe water and sanitation
Access to safe and clean drinking water and sanitation along with hygiene (WASH) services is key if Uganda is to achieve the 6th Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) by 2030. It is also essential for preventing waterborne diseases, reducing time wasted in search for water, and lowering mortality rates, especially among children and vulnerable populations.
Environmental conservation
Because the nature is the mother of humanity, it is our equal responsibilities to take care of nature to create the needed balance, UWWI works with women and youth to build resilience and protect nature from harmful human practices like conservation, climate smart agriculture and awareness creation has proved effective for UWWI.
